Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Short version: your chat file never leaves your device. We only receive the details needed to process a payment.
Your chat file
When you choose a chat export, your browser reads and analyses it on your own device. The file and its messages are not uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone. When you close the tab, the data is gone. Images and videos you create are also made on your device.
What we do collect
- When you pay: your mobile number, the item you bought, the amount and an order ID. These are sent to our payment partner, Cashfree Payments, to create and confirm your order and send you a receipt.
- Payment details: card, bank and UPI details are entered on Cashfree's secure checkout. We never see or store them.
- On your device: the site stores a small record in your browser (local storage) of which chats you've unlocked, identified by a one-way fingerprint of the file rather than its contents, plus your mobile number for faster checkout next time. You can clear this any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
How we use it
Only to process payments, deliver what you bought, handle refunds and support requests, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Cashfree Payments (payment processing) and our website hosting provider. Both handle data only to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Payment records are kept as long as required by Indian tax and accounting rules. Nothing about your chats is ever kept, because we never receive it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or raise a grievance, by writing to email. We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
Purchases are meant for people aged 18 or over, or with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
